TextToPDF is a free, client-assisted PDF generation tool. We built it with one guiding principle: your content belongs to you. We do not collect, store, sell, or share any text, documents, or personal information you enter into the app.
When you click "Download PDF", your content is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our server-side PDF renderer (powered by PDFKit). The server generates the PDF, streams it directly back to your browser, and immediately discards the request — nothing is written to disk or retained in any database.
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. No third-party analytics scripts (e.g. Google Analytics) are loaded on this site. Your browser may cache static assets (JavaScript, CSS) for performance, but these contain no personal data and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
TextToPDF is hosted on infrastructure that may log standard server access data (IP address, request timestamp, HTTP method, response code) for operational purposes such as security monitoring and abuse prevention. These logs are retained for a short period and are not used for profiling or advertising. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.
TextToPDF is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our service, please contact us so we can address it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of TextToPDF after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
